Ofogo - Ghazala hotel - Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt - Red Sea
.

O’Fogo at the Ghazala Gardens in Naama Bay is a quiet, intimate restaurant with a selection of Brazilian food to suit every palate. The menu is extensive and the selection of starters and appetizers offered everything from shrimp chowder, jumbo prawn and lobster, salads and some interesting looking soups.
I opted for Peanut Soup and my friend had the prawns and lobster with spicy sauce. The soup was wonderful and at only 16 Le a real bargain, my friend’s starter was exquisite but at 75 LE maybe a tad pricy. The choice of the main course includes steak, veal, sea bass, lobster and salmon at prices ranging from 75 LE to 200 LE. We chose chicken with banana rice and lamb with couscous.
On to desert We tried the spicy fruit kebabs and chocolate tart. The tart needed ice cream as it was a little dry, but the chilli flavoured fruit sticks were to die for. Currently there is a set menu for a very reasonable 140LE offering a choice of any starter and desert from the menu and a choice of a Surf and Turf (steak and lobster), Red Sea delights (lobster, prawns, calamari) or Meat Lovers (beef and veal).
