A local landmark in Sharm called "Ras Kennedy" it used to be seen by everybody going into Sharm town until the area was filled in with palm trees. As the name suggests it is a natural rock formation that resembles the American president JF Kennedy head. |

Archives again; Left: A very popular "hotel" in the 80's. This was Gafy Camp, which is now Days Inn Hotel. The 'hotel' only had fresh water for an hour in the morning
and an hour in the evening. Any other time of the day it was sea water
in the pipes. |
