The Hilton Waterfalls hotel is on the coast by Ras um Sidd, which is a 15 minute drive from Nama Bay Sharm el Sheikh.
The entrance to the hotel is quiet small, but once inside the grounds it opens up into spacious gardens with large palm trees, nice lawns and water features.
The reception is large and incorporates the main restaurant and a couple of bars. This opens out onto the main area of the rooms. which are situated on the slope down to the sea.
All the rooms have sea views from their balconies, which also overlook the gardens and the numorous pools. There is an unusual tram/lift which runs the length of the hotel grounds, making access easy for disabled.
The beach itself is in three sections which are dips in the cliff. There is plenty of space to lie around the pools and catch the sun.
Access to the Red Sea is via a underwater walkway and goes over the reefs into the deep water. This makes access to the snorkeling easy.
